Homecoming :)

Hey guys!

I have to tell you so much about my past weeks.
About one month after school has began they have a dance called 'Homecoming'. The boys ask the girls for homecoming. Some ask by ruining their car or their room. Others ask by giving them a clue and they have to find out where the next clue is. I find it's a really cute idea to do something like that :).

So, two weeks ago on a Tuesday when I had drama Marlee said I should come with her to get a drink. When we had a drink I saw a string with a german sentense like: follow me. The two of us followed the string through the Auditorium and through the school. When the string was behind the stage I had to climb up the ladder. Up there was a table with a lot of tootsie rolls (i love them!) and the string still didn't end. Finally, when I saw the end of the string there was a paper with: Waschen Sie dieses T-Shirt, um herauszufinden war es its! (translation: wash this shirt to find out who it is). On the front of the shirt was: HOMECOMING? and on the back there were a lot of names. I went home and washed the shirt. All names went out except for one :) Garett :). Garett asked me to homecoming.

Now, how I answered: I saw in Facebook that he has the same kind of camera like I do. So I decided that I want to do something with pictures. On Tuesday at drama practise I took pictures of the school and printed them out. On Saturday evening everybody had drama practice and I hung up the pictures of the school. Callie gave him the first picture with the first clue where he has to go to. The last picture I was wearing his shirt with HOMECOMING? and a sign with: JA!

I answered him one week before the homecoming dance. I still needed a dress, shoes. Just everything. The week before homecoming is the funniest week. Every day is different. On Monday we had to come in our PJ's and crazy hair to school, Tuesday was decade day, Wednesday I can't remember anymore, Thursday was nerd day and on Friday it was the school colors blue and yellow.. On Wednesday it was the powderpuff where senior girls play football against junior girls. It was really funny and on Friday was the football game against Beaver. We lost. But everybody still was excited because of homecoming.

My Saturday started really bad. I had to get up at 6.45 am because I had drama practice. After drama I went home and got ready for our day date. Garett picked me up at 1.50 and we drove to a place where all the couples met. We had to put Bandanas on our eyes and we got driven to a place (without seeing where we went) where we got bound together and had to get free. After we were free we had to find our way out. After we came to the house of the woman who had organized everything we ate dinner and Garett drove me back home at 6.30.

When I was finally ready for the dance and I had to wait the last 5 minutes until Garett came I was so nervous like never before. My two host brothers were also going to homecoming so we did pictures and then Garett came to pick me up. When we arrived at the school we had to take pictures and went then in another hall where the music was. It was so much fun! We danced a lot and I liked the slowly songs the most :)

After the dance we went to watch a movie and Garett brought me back home at 1.15 am. I would say it was the best date I ever had! :)

I think I wrote already way too much and I'm sorry if the grammar is totally wrong. But I hope you liked my post. And here are some pictures for you :)
